EPB Fiber Optics (EPB) is currently requesting bids for a total quantity of twenty (20) three-phase, pad-mounted transformers with a primary voltage of 12.47kV and a secondary voltage of 480Y/277V. These transformers must be dead-front and rated at 2000 kVA. All equipment must meet the detailed specifications outlined in the official bid package provided. EPB Fiber Optics (EPB) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the production and installation of vinyl vehicle wraps and graphics. We will wrap new vehicles and/or replace wraps on existing vehicles as needed for three years. Vehicle make/model will vary along with quantity of approximately 50 plus or minus each year. We are looking for a vendor who can provide a cost per square foot that can be used to produce quote costs for each vehicle as they need to be wrapped based on specific specs.

EPB Fiber Optics (EPB) is seeking proposals from qualified media buyers or media buying agencies to execute the tactical buying, placement, and optimization of paid media campaigns across a variety of traditional and digital platforms. This RFP is focused specifically on the media buying component. Strategic media planning and creative development will be managed in-house or by separate partners. The selected media buyer will work closely with our internal team and/or lead agency to place media efficiently, monitor performance, and provide expert advice on how to maximize the effectiveness of each platform.

EPB Fiber Optics (EPB) seeks to standardize the equipment deployed at the customer premise to provide service to its ethernet network. To this end, we are publishing this Request for Proposals from interested parties. The end goal of this RFP is to establish a standardized set of CPE devices EPB may deploy across all products offered on our ethernet network. EPB currently offers downstream (UNI) ports of 1G, 2.5G, 10G, 25G, 40G, 100G and 400G with upstream (NNI) ports of 10G, 100G and 400G. Service may be subscribed to at 30M, 50M, 100M, 300M, 500M, 1G, 2.5G, 10G, 25G, 40G, 100G, and 400G at this time.

EPB operates a fiber optic network for communications to its substations. Each substation contains one or more ethernet switches that support this network. The existing switches are approaching end-of-life so we plan to replace them all over the next 5 years. We plan to purchase approximately 125 switches over the 5 year project.

We are seeking a partner to provide a Power Purchase Agreement for solar PV to be installed in an easement at the Three Gorges development in Soddy Daisy. EPB has secured an easment from the developer of approximately 20 acres on which the solar partner can install their solar equipment This PPA would fall under TVA's Flexibility 2.0 Guidlines.

EPB Fiber Optics (EPB) is seeking bids from qualified suppliers to offer 12kV Submersible Network Transformers (120/208V) designed for use with network protectors and equipped with 200-amp bushings. We are also requesting 12kV Submersible SPOT Network Transformers with secondary voltages of 120/208V and 277/480V to support various utility distribution applications. All proposed units must meet applicable industry standards for safety, reliability, and performance in underground network systems.

EPB of Chattanooga is evaluating its core systems and looking to consolidate them where possible. Reducing the number of systems, decreasing time to upgrade systems, and reducing cost are ways EPB is looking to improve its core system architecture. With an increased focus on security and compliance, efficiencies gained in the consolidation, maintenance, and upgrade process of systems will allow internal resources to concentrate on serving our customers, improving customer experience, and enhance the quality of life for the community.
